US Capitol Breached by Trump's lunatics

Indeed, an inside job...

It’s really weird that one of our two political parties attempted to overthrow the government and people have largely forgotten about it, or excuse it, or pretend they were “just tourists.” We have people harping on the border like immigrants are laced with radioactive cyanide when it’s pretty much the same as it’s ever been, but they’re prepared to pretend that elected GOP officials aren’t still covering up their involvement in the attempted coup. They scream and squawk about inflation (about which they don’t personally care and aren’t actually affected) and say they’ll happily vote for the guy who organized the coup. It’s bizarre. Do people not understand what happened, what’s happening? Or are they only able to care about an issue if the media is shoving it in their faces?

This also seems inside job-esque:

“A former high-ranking Capitol Police official with knowledge of the department’s response to the Jan. 6 attack has sent congressional leaders a scathing letter accusing two of its senior leaders of mishandling evidence and failing to respond properly during the riot.

The whistleblower, who requested anonymity for privacy reasons and left the force months after the attack, sent the 16-page letter late last month to the top members of both parties in the House and Senate. His missive makes scorching allegations against Sean Gallagher, the Capitol Police’s acting chief of uniformed operations, and Yogananda Pittman, its assistant chief of police for protective and intelligence operations — who also served as its former acting chief.”

Happy Birthday Ashlii. I guess now we know the answer to how to get a personal birthday message from a former president: commit treason and ignore an order from a police officer.

What a slap in the face to the police officers who were serving that day. Will Brian Sicknick's family get a birthday message, too?

FBI Raids Home of Philadelphia Proud Boy Leader. https://www.inquirer.com/news/philadelphia-proud-boys-raid-aaron-wolkind-20211011.html

On Friday morning at about 4:00 the FBI raided the home of Aaron Whallon Wolkind. He wasn't at the January 6 attempted coup d'etat. He is suspected of being an organizer. They took phones and computers. He wasn't arrested. The quest to identify the organizers continues.

..."The search warrant permitted agents to seize records and information related to people who “collaborated, conspired, or assisted,” or “communicated about matters” including their whereabouts, during the attack on the Capitol on Jan. 6, or the “legitimacy of the 2020 presidential election,” the filing says. They could also collect “clothing items” associating Wolkind with the Proud Boys, it said. The offenses cited on the warrant are the same criminal charges Rehl is facing, Moseley said..."

Anyone surprised?

It is all going to come out. It is going to be ugly. And 40% of the American people are going to believe that those who are being arrested and tried for their sedition are actually martyrs and heroes.

It is amazing all these Trump Republicans sport the "thin blue line" American Flags and yet...

It was coordinated. Use RICO on them.

Is it really going to all come out and those responsible are really going to be arrested? I guess we can all dream that justice will prevail.
