Seriously doubt they would even pay attention to this garbage. Just because nothing is good enough for your cancel culture don’t believe for a second that people aren’t smart enough to understand how things work and offer a contrary opinion to under-informed blowholes that simply exude hate towards the team they supposedly love. Nothing will be good enough for some people especially the spirit groups or whatever they are called.

Could hire all women and that wouldn’t be good enough.

Pointing fingers at someone trying to save the club??

Oh to be educated!

You’re not interested in truth just echo your opinions to the void

Your victimhood game is strong. Congrats!

Please educate us then.

Did this investor just propose his friend for the President position, or was a thorough search conducted among qualified applicants for the position?

Did this same investor just have his company enter into a kit sponsorship with the Spirit, or was a thorough effort made to contact non-affiliated companies and see if they wanted to sponsor the Spirit for a potentially higher price?

BO may be a fine president, and the IntelliBridge sponsorship may have been the best deal available. But it is valid to question the process in which the Spirit made these decisions. It smells of related-party dealmaking and a good ole boy culture, especially with people not answering these questions and instead distracting the discussion by throwing out cancel-culture accusations.

Their money their business.

Y’all are all coming unhinged and directing energy to the wrong people

Ben O is great

Thread is about Richie and some Front Office types. Any investors that came in this year arrived with good purpose except Baldwin messed up inviting Kang and thinking she would just be there for inspiration

There is a Washington Post writer in here mining for dirt

No answers. Investor is a saint and single-handily saving the Spirit. Don’t question the process. And if you do, you hate men, you are part of the cancel culture, and you hate liberals.

There is a lot of damage control on this thread. Only the investor knows all of these specific facts about his subsidiary, their decision to sponsor Spirit, and many of the other items in this thread. There has been an aggressive pitch for the Post and other media to write about this narrative. It has failed. There is a reason this narrative only exists on threads like this and other social media.

And yes, there are more Post articles to come that will not be flattering.

Damage control - haha I have no skin in the game except I’m a fan of the team. What a joke. I’m contradicting you so I must be an investor or something? Odd. I don’t even know who this magical investor is you mention behind intellibridge. The CEO ? I’m not kidding I have no idea who you’re talking about. The CEO at intellibridge is friends with BO? Big deal!

They can spend their money how they want.

Despite your opinions the “good ole boys club” does not apply to this just because you think it does

The men was started by men was it not?

Maybe we should start a new post? Now that is much more than just about Richie Burke.

Haha letter “obtained by the post”

Kang is working with the post to take the team for herself. Noting the displeasure of a small minded, small number spirit group as the “fan base” is ridiculous. All they can agree on is not liking white men in control of anything - despite white men keeping this team financially solvent.

Kang harasses players and they can’t stand it. Nobody is even interested in the other side of the story. Did you read ONCE that anyone was unavailable for comments? Nope. Due to nobody asking

Why does it matter that there is an investor who has connections. You telling me that Dan At WFC has no connections with sponsors or investment? Jerry Jones? Yankees owners? Any number of euro football clubs?

Per the article - The business head of the spirit railed against their kit sponsor and people wonder why she had to go? If she was an effective leader she would have successfully negotiated a kit sponsor.

FYI anyone know that Intellibridge is a good company? Say defense contractor and it’s negative? Do DCU fans hate Leidos

Uh, nope.

From MH-C's 9/22 article:

"In response to questions from a reporter, Baldwin called The Post’s reporting inaccurate but refused to comment or respond to questions on the record.

Burke declined to comment on that story but previously told a reporter he had “no interest in showing bias.”

Best did not respond to multiple requests for comment detailing these allegations via text and email."

And in yesterday's article:
"Baldwin did not immediately respond to a request for comment. He has previously declined to comment on questions from The Washington Post about the treatment of women at the club and about tension with Kang.

Hey WP Reporter - Did not immediately means he didn’t answer the phone and five min later they published. I don’t like him but that’s how it’s done. Push to print and never care about digging to both sides.

Problem is when columnists / bottom feeders side with someone as opposed to exposing the truth. Ask around UCLA and find out what teammates thought of Kaya and ask yourself why she and Sanchez weren’t friends
