Yes. DS was waitlisted and neighbor got in. |

This could all be avoided with a better system:
Release scores when available. All schools use the same type of envelope: big for acceptance, regular for reject or waitlist |

| Waitpools and waitlists will have movement. Note posters already with multiple acceptances. Each of those but the one selected is a spot that will open up. |

Or, people could just open whichever type envelopes when they arrive, and read the contents. |
