Apparently Trump cares, if he would have turned these over already? You realize this is the second time this same subpoena had to go all the way up to the Supreme Court? |
Trump "cares"? Or for the last 6 years Trump has loved distracting us and diverting our attention with bull****. How many times are we going to fall for this? |
...if we're talking about his taxes, we're talking about him, not Biden. If we're talking about his taxes, we're not talking about impeachment and insurrection. He loves any and all attention, "flooding the zone" as Bannon would say. Unless you're bringing criminal charges, spare us this oxygen-sucking play-by-play and let the dirtbag fade away into irrelevancy. |
Go back to the OP. This is a criminal investigation. |
I guess you don't realize that these kinds of cases take years to build. Do you think they got Al Capone from one quick investigation? Nope. These kinds of investigations are tedious, and take a long time to build because it's a ball of twisted yarn that needs to be unraveled, not to mention the boxes and boxes of documents to go through. I love how whenever there is something egregious that Trump has done, Trumpsters call it fake news. The more they claim fake news, the more you know it's bad. |
+1. Investigations aren't an episode of The Apprentice. They aren't designed to draw clicks and eyeballs. |
+2 I’m listening to a podcast about Iran-Contra and they didn’t indict Weinberger until six years after the initial plane crash. |
That’s only unfortunate in this instance because I think Trump’s brain is going to a smooth sponge by six years from now, assuming he’s still alive. |
Yeah, there’s multiple instances where Reagan is finally deposed and/or called to testify and it’s both scary and sad. |
These investigations are especially tedious and time consuming when the authorities have a long history of looking the other way from tax cheats. If the find something serious, do you think it will be the start of actually pursuing cases against the worst offenders? |
No, they don't have the resources to go after all tax cheats. That doesn't mean they shouldn't go after this one. |
+1. Cops don't have the resources to go after all speeders either. It doesn't mean they shouldn't give out tickets sometimes, especially to the most egregious, flashy offenders. Most people drive slower as a result. |
"I don't remember...", "I don't recall..." It was painful to watch in hindsight knowing he had alzheimers. |
Hope they find the source of his loans. I’m sure they’re sketchy af. |
