Excluding DA/ECNL I would say SYA, Herndon, SYC, and NVSC--all are highly competitive and have had some great results. Herndon and SYC have other strong teams, although that's not to say SYA and NVSC aren't successful. So long as you are playing at a club you want to, you've made the right choice. If your route is D1 soccer, there's more to it than just the club developing the player.

Bryc has not won an ecnl game in 2 years. No fcv or vda? I think Sya and NVSC lost are least 5-0 to fcv, McLean, vda.

Not true - BRYC 05 won 3 ECNL games last year...beat Wilmington, Loudoun and Carolina Rapids. Yes, they're dead last in the ECNL conference standings, but they haven't lost ALL their ECNL games in the past two years.

They will beat VDA this Sunday. Book it.

Baltimore Celtic beat two DA teams in VDA Showcase and Pipeline has yet to lose to an ECNL team. SAC Blue beat several ECNL clubs. Please get over it. DA/ECNL is stronger than EDP/CCL but to argue that non-DA/ECNL aren't elite stupid.

You are correct. ECNL in this area is NOT elite. It is watered down and offers more opportunities for kids to play in a "National" league.

Let me know when a good DA team (Not WSVA / MU) plays a local team and loses. I'd like to hear all about it!

MU 2005 is a good team. However, they would be much better if they could stick to keeping significant playing time to their 2005 players. It doesn't matter that a 2007 CAN play at that level. There are more than enough capable 2005 players on that team to play a full game without having a younger child play a single minute.

While playing the younger player there might help HER development, that comes at the expense of the rest of the team, as well as the individual players who are losing playing time to that player.

Looks like that 07 play-up is the person who scored the goals that got MU 05 into the DA Cup race. Not sure that anyone on the 05 roster could produce at that rate.

I want to know who this troll is that has major issues with an O7 on the O5 team, this player is clearly not on there for developmental reasons, she a huge contribution & very beneficial the team so back down!!! And no this is not her parent.
