Who did you think killed JonBenet?

Anonymous

Everyone knows that Brittney Spears is the real JB. She pulled a Gone Girl at age 6, then moved to Louisiana to begin her career in earnest.

I mean, duh!

[Adding levity because child murder is simply too horrible to think about for 21 pages.]

I understand that seeing a note like that would be jarring as hell and I can certainly understand going into panic mode when they saw that JonBenet's bed was empty.

But to not even fully read the one clue as to her whereabouts that they had? Makes no sense.

Didn't need to read it b/c she wrote it. She already knew JB was dead when she called 911.

Yes. I think so too.

I thought that there was rumored to be some sort of Katie Perry connection there. (maybe JB is KP??)

I hate the child murder aspect of this but after 20 years the mystery is intriguing. No one is getting into horrific specifics about what happened to this little girl. I personally don't want to know those details - it's too sickening and sad. It's more the who done it aspect, the mystery of it all that people find interesting.

I did some more reading on the case last night and found something that said there was evidence a stub gun may have been used on her (the type of bruise pointed to this possibility) and there was an unidentified pubic hair on her blanket.

You obviously have no read all 21 pages of this thread because this has been mentioned here numerous times. Not new info that may or may not be true.

It could be possible that the hair could've been from the bathroom floor or toilet - they had so many guests over and if she was taken into the bathroom after wetting the bed she could've like so many kids been dragging a blanket with her.

Stun gun no idea unless it was the brother used it on her and well, that would be something parents would want to cover up... How do you explain away your son stun gunning his sister?

There's just so much to the multitude of possible scenarios in this case.

I think the stun gun theory has been pretty much discredited (marks are close to one certain type of stun gun but not exact) and the hair turned out to be a body hair (not pubic) from someone with Patsy's maternal lineage (in other words a blood relative of Patsy's).

My 6yo son also still wets the bed.

I don't think that bed wetting is that unusual in a 6 year old. My own kids stopped having accidents around 3 1/2 or so but it wasn't because I did something "right" as a parent.

I don't think that bed wetting, in and of itself, is necessarily that unusual or a sign of anything. But with JonBenet there were other signs - repeat urinary tract infections, injuries that required hospital care. It may have all been coincidental but it does seem as though something could have been going on there too.

Yes sorry I meant poop accidents. Especially middle of the night pop accidents. My kids still wet the bed.

Night time poop accidents in an older child are more rare. I would be concerned about dietary issues, possibly food allergies - not to be gross but I would think that the consistency of it would be fairly loose to have an older child have an accident like that.

Night time bed wetting is different.

Not sure what all was going on there.

Former detective James Kolar believes the "stun gun" marks were from Burke's model train, fyi.

There is also a super interesting theory relating to the cord and tape coming from the American Girl doll that was then removed from the house the next day, and an American Girl doll was ordered to John Ramsey's work office in Atlanta AFTER the murder. Google it.

Interesting, but wouldn't that be incredibly easy to verify? Also, AG dolls were/often back-ordered, so it would be necessary to know the exact details of order placement etc.

I don't think I've heard anything about the American Girl Doll. So I'm not sure what that's all about. They are saying that the tape over JonBenet's mouth and the cord used to strangle JonBenet came from that doll? Then the doll was removed from the house the next day (the 26th?) and John or someone at his office then ordered a replacement American Girl Doll?

Is this all in Kolar's book?

Thanks to this thread and some research I'm not basically positive that Patsy wrote the ransom note. What the hell!

Actually seems pretty obvious when you view them (the real one and the one she was made to write) side by side!
