I don't think that bed wetting is that unusual in a 6 year old.  My own kids stopped having accidents around 3 1/2 or so but it wasn't because I did something "right" as a parent.

I don't think that bed wetting, in and of itself, is necessarily that unusual or a sign of anything.  But with JonBenet there were other signs - repeat urinary tract infections, injuries that required hospital care.  It may have all been coincidental but it does seem as though something could have been going on there too.[/quote]

Night time poop accidents in an older child are more rare.  I would be concerned about dietary issues, possibly food allergies - not to be gross but I would think that the consistency of it would be fairly loose to have an older child have an accident like that.

Night time bed wetting is different.
