Actually, Israel's wars are aligned with U.S. interests, which is why the U.S. supports Israel and not Iran.

The U.S. interest is not more war. It’s not in Israel’s interest either but Netanyahu is a criminal and a war monger. Wanted in his own national court and international court

U.S. interests include support for democratic governments, which is not something found in Iran, Gaza, or many other ME areas, but is a feature of Israel political structure. Those interests further include the suppression of Islamist terror, another feature of Iran and Gaza, and sometime Syria and Lebanon. It's inarguable that Israel shares that objective with the U.S. Clearly, Israel and the U.S. are closely aligned with regard to their foreign policies and their democratic values.

When 1/2 your population is oppressed or forced out of the country you are not a democracy.

You are when they can vote, which they can. Non-citizens rightly have no vote. The Knesset contains Jews and Arabs (Muslim, Druze, Christian) from different parties. Arabs are a minority, but they are represented and can vote when entitled to do so by citizenship. That is, by definition, a democracy; the Knesset's composition reflects the diversity of the country's population.

Arab citizens have the same legal rights as Jewish Israelis. They tend to be less educated and do face socioeconomic disadvantages associated with that. Where there is discrimination against Arab citizens, it is not state-sanctioned, and is based on the behavior of admittedly non-citizen Muslim Arabs who are correctly recognized as behind Palestinian terror targeting Israeli citizens. Were such terror to end, the unfortunate but understandable association of Palestinians with it would also end, perhaps leading to less discrimination based on that type of deplorable activity.

Will the Mad King listen to the advice he’s given or start a war anyway?

It's not his decision to make. He will do as Netanyahu, AIPAC, Adelson etc tell him.

Bingo. Even the actual Arab citizens and their localities deal with disparate treatment discrimination.

Bullsh!t. Israel has said it limits the number of non-jewish citizens so that every jewish voter counts more. There will never be a jewish minority. Not only that, jews are one of the most racist people. 48% of jews in israel agreed with the statement that "Arabs should be expelled or transferred from Israel. It's an apartheid ethnostate for a reason.

They've also said they want a jewish majority in the occupied West Bank. How exactly do you think they're going about with this?

It's one thing to be a parasitic Israel lover. It's another to spread lies.

Amazing that Jeff allows the IRGC agent to still post here, in full hatred and paranoia.

Just like those peace loving Palestinians murdered, raped 1200 Israelis and kidnapped another 251 on Oct 7, including of course women and children. Pot, meet kettle.

This is why I do not believe the reports coming out of Iran. It’s the same people who said all of the above which turned out to be lies.

Wow, the Iranian propagandist has reached the point where she is claiming 10/7 didn’t happen.

It is so sad to see how morally bankrupt the progressive left in this country has become. I’m embarrassed I ever called myself a progressive.

Nothing to be embarrassed about. Progressive Israeli is the aame as an American racial supremacist.

She's effectively a Holocaust Denier, deserving of the scorn she's receives in every thread where she injects herself to propagate her patent nonsense.

She isn’t very good at it though. I mean, I was a very strong supporter of Gaza (as in I’ve attended protests etc.) and reading the unhinged posts here have pushed me much more towards the Israeli side. I want nothing to do with the Candace Owens crowd.

jfc replying to your own posts?? I was this and now I'm that. Team Israel!!!! Your left hand high fiving your right hand.

Riiiiiiight genocide protester becomes genocide denier. Makes a lot of sense.

But there's one thing I don't get. Are the anti-Israel people here Hamas, MAGA, leftists, fascists, Candace fans, or self-loathing jews? You seem to blame all of them. I guess it's because it is all of them.
