As a left-leaning American, I am interested in Iran but COMMITTED to my own country and trying to un-f- it up from Trump. I have my hands full dealing with the American regime.

It's certainly far from the first time widespread protests have occurred in Iran (people who say we don't live under a dictator because people can protest forget that protests do happen in dictatorial countries, although it takes a lot more courage to do so).

It's also possible there have been news articles about economic problems in Iran people have ignored because that's boring stuff.

DP. Is Iran involved in a genocide? Did Iran steal land to create a country that never existed? If the US had to choose between Israel or Iran as an ally you would take Iran in 10 out of 10 times.

Iran has been hostile to American from day one of this regime in 1979 and has done nothing since to advance any kind of reconciliation or alliance with the US.

This theocratic regime has been oppressive and authoritarian and has horribly mismanaged Iran. They can go and maybe THEN we can become friends with its new government.

As Americans, we have exactly NOTHING to say about Iran after the interference and outright acts of war that we have undertaken against the will of the Iranian people over the past 75 years.

That’s the sad truth. The Iran that you have been brainwashed to hate / fear is in very large part the direct result of U.S. policies and actions that brought about what’s there now.

I guess we can thank our friends at State, FB, and of course those jolly fellows in our beloved think tanks for the mess over there.

Last time I checked, Israel was the only country to bomb Americans with no consequences. Had they been successful in there false flag operation, who knows how many American lives would be sacrificed for Israel's political and military objectives.
