It happens. I worked as an assistant in a Radiology department until completing college and can think of a few patients who walked in with minor symptoms for a routine CT or Ultrasound scan and had metastatic lesions in say the liver from ovarian cancer.

That said, with the amount of scrutiny the sitting president would have had from literally a private doctor, I am sceptical that this totally blindsided them.

And were those people President of the United States, also a former VP and Senator, who had personal physicians and top quality healthcare, with regular check-ups and monitoring, for at least the last 40 - 50 years?

Yes and I dont see why not. If you have never had friends or family doing normal checkups and one day finding a terminal cancer consider yourself lucky. My (very republican) FIL went through the same thing, regular checks and then in June 2024 was found with prostate cancer than had already spread to bones and other places. Died in early February 2025. My dad is a retired surgeon and had more than one friend/colleague died of aggressive cancers who were discovered when they had already spread (including one who died in months of aggressive prostate cancer, and these people were all doctors. I have no idea about Biden and what kind of tests he did and when, but based on my experience i dont see this as strange. Plus Biden was no longer the presidential candidate already in July 2025 so why keep this a secret if it was known then? It actually could have been used as an excuse to drop out if the race that would have sounded a lot more honorable for him (i am doing great but have terminal cancer so i need to bow out v. I am senile and cannot do the job anymore.

The thing you all are not taking into consideration about how Biden prob did know he was sick is that he could not have felt 100% every day or close enough to it that he wouldn't have suspected something was going on with his body earlier in time.

We all feel good or bad - some days really bad or something is just plain wrong after a period of time.

There is no way anyone can convince me that he did not feel "off" enough to know that something was likely really wrong. NO WAY in hell and given that as POTUS, he would be able to get top screening/treatment at his request for any health concern.

Again, not suggesting he's doing anything wrong but just saying, it's highly unlikely he never ever considered he might have not felt 100% for enough time (ie something was wrong) toward the end of his presidency to have been put through tests that could have revealed an earlier diagnosis that was not as severe as it is today.

The problem is that this follows the m.o. of the Biden administration. If they had not told us for years that Biden was as sharp as a tack, we might believe.

Why is his the only medical report of the last 4 4 presidents that doesn’t cover PSA levels. Obama, Trump and Bush all had that covered in their publicly available physicals. Why do you think that might be? Because he had it all along and they didn’t want to give up their chance to be president. And yes, I am using they intentionally. He knew. What I am not sure about is whether he was treating it enough. Maybe he was. When my father went through radiation for prostare cancer, he was very tired a lot. Sounds familiar.

I believe Trump has dementia and is showing signs of it, but that his dementia is not as far progressed as Biden’s was by the end of his term.

I think Trump’s health is a serious issue, and a better health report should be disclosed. However, I believe his health is overall better than Biden’s was, and he is far more mentally competent than Biden was. That’s a relative scale, of course: as against Obama, Trump’s likely dementia is appalling. But it’s better than Biden’s was.

LOTS of people do not realize they have cancer until it has spread.

This is why doctors screen asymptomatic people. That is the definition of screening .

I am paying close attention, and I hear the drumbeat from the left that Trump has dementia (in addition to being a Nazi, Fascist, racist, and everything in the book) so I tend to tune that out and judge for myself. I have not seen any of the signs of dementia from Trump that the whole world saw from Biden.
Can you give one clear, simple, factual example that makes your point without launching into a diatribe against Trump?
