I realize he was forced down our throats by the party's mega donors but we could have fought back by vigorously fighting back with votes against him in the 2020 primary. I know this is hard for the DCUM atheists to understand but the Dorito thing just spelled out for Christians the absolute contempt that Democrats hold for them. Whereas Trump's failings can be rationalized with something like "hate the sin, not the sinner." Whether he is faking it or not, he doesn't act like he loathes Christianity and all it stands for and that's enough for some people.

That rips away all three of these industries not to mention the displacement from millions of illegal immigrants who can do what dems insultingly call “low skill jobs”. Dems insult half the country. Can they drive a tractor trailer or mine underground for 12 hours for coal? I think not. Calling that low skill is spitting in the face of the electorate. Only 37% of Americans have a bachelors degree. Most Americans don’t live in towns or states with many universities, and many opportunities to do white collar work. We still don’t have high speed rail so people in the Midwest can commute to Silicon Valley for jobs. People on the coasts are out of touch with the realities of people in the middle of the country. They don’t want a mandate to buy health insurance they won’t even use as they can’t take a day off work to go to the doctor without losing their job or losing a day’s pay. Do Dems think every job has paid time off and sick days?

The only examples I can even recall are GHWBush being head of CIA. Then at the VP level there’s Cheney as Secretary of Defense.
