There has never been any debate agreed between Harris and Trump, and that remains to be negotiated. A week ago, people were asking about a debate between Vance and Harris. and the Trump campaign replied they were waiting to see who Harris would nominate for VP.

Actually, the Trump campaign (specifically Vance) would not agree to a debate because there was no guarantee that Harris would be the VP candidate.
And, as it turns out, it looks like he was right.

Now, the Trump campaign will not commit to a debate with Harris because, once again, there is no guarantee that she will be the official candidate.
Pretty smart of them if you ask me.

This thread is utterly ridiculous. He, in no way, said he was "pulling out" of any debate. Amazing spin (lies) by DCUM's finest.

They are simply following the lead of the left media. It is expected.
They are also playing revisionist history when it comes to Kamala Harris' positions on issues and on her record. The media is outright deleting previously written articles that are critical of her or that outline her far left positions. It is something you would see in North Korea or another communist country. Quite stunning, actually. They seem to think that these pieces cannot be found if they delete them. They seem to think the voting public is stupid.
We are quite aware of their lies and their cover ups.

The statement says he refuses to schedule a debate. That's HIS statement. What do you think he said?

He refuses to schedule a debate until the candidate is finalized. Why do you keep leaving that part out?
Oh I know why - it makes your “Trump canceled the debate” argument fall apart if you leave it in.

the candidate is finalized, it's Harris.

BS. The candidate won't be finalized until the DNC. Why are you gaslighting?

Pretty dumb if you ask me. Trump/Vance is crashing this week. It's phenomenal how much ground they're losing. And now Trump is too cowardly to even get on a stage with Kamala Harris.

Not a great look if you're a Republican. Trump is projecting fear and weakness by refusing to debate Harris.

Exactly when did he refuse to debate Harris? Quote?

Biden isn't running for president. Harris is. Why won't Trump debate her?

The thread title asserts that Trump backed out of a debate that has never been agreed to, which is false. The only upcoming agreed upon debate was cancelled when Trump’s opponent conceded defeat after losing the first debate, which rendered the agreement for a second debate moot.

Are you saying it's not possible to debate someone before they become the nominee, or that Trump doesn't want to?

DP. Wow. With every disingenuous post you are making yourself and Democrats look terrible. Spin, lie, gaslight - you do it so well.

Take a long hard look in the mirror. Trump can easily say "I will debate Kamala Harris or whoever the nominee is on September 10th." It's that simple. But he refuses to do so, even though he has absolutely no credible or legitimate reason. He is afraid, and you're the one trying to deflect and spin.

Only moot if you for some reason think there won't be a replacement for Biden. Except, there is a replacement for Biden - so it's NOT moot. The second debate needs to happen and there is no reason why it can not or should not be scheduled.

don't bother, this is a recognizable troll, whose tactic is to ignore things that have already been argued and he tries to derail the convo with process questions. it's so stupid and boring.

That’s what democrats said about Trump debating Biden. We know now it was bunk. How about wait until Kamala is officially nominated and then see what happens? It’s not Trump’s fault democrats can’t get their act together.

What a crazy miss step by the Trump campaign. This makes him look so weak and afraid.
Not smart.
