I think that's correct. MAGA is not going for Youngkin. And I haven't seen anything to suggest that there is any kind of chemistry between Trump and Youngkin. Usually, Trump and the banker class of Republicans hate each other. I do think it will be Rubio even if he has to resign his seat. Florida will reliably choose another GOP senator. And Trump/Rubio should easily win, with the odds being high that Rubio eventually becomes president. It would be a good pick. Rubio is more charismatic than Youngkin and has broader national appeal, particularly in competitive southwestern states. |

Also, Youngkin is 6'5. There is zero chance Trump is choosing someone taller than him for VP. None. Not happening. |
