The Dems have no one to put forward who will unite the caucus. Harris is a joke. She's partly to blame for that, but Biden deserves blame as well. He's given her all of the shit issues to deal with like immigration instead of giving her issues like STEM research to inspire a nation. If Harris stays on, she'll only inflict more political damage on herself. Buttigieg, Klobuchar, and all of the other wannabes have nothing to inspire and unite with.

Dems are currently in serious trouble -- even more so if we go into a recession. The party in power is always blamed for the economy.

Unfortunately, there are too many "I-know-everything-and-I'm-holier than thou" Gen X, Millennial, and Gen Z liberals in government around here who have no idea what they're doing and are completely out of touch with the reality of the country.

Meanwhile, DeSantis is an idiot for going after Disney and squandering whatever momentum he had for challenging Trump. And I'm betting Trump ultimately picks Tim Scott as his running mate, which is going to make it even harder for Dems in 2024.

I could be wrong but I don't see Tim Scott tying his yoke to ol rapey orange face. I think he's got a bigger political future than that. (I am a Dem, do not want him to have power, but he's at least not as evil as the alternatives.)

So far, there's nothing to cover up. There are some verbal claims and allegations. With the presser, there's now also a claim of bank records - but neither the records nor the whistleblower report or anything else have been released. How can you claim there's a coverup when it's your own guys who aren't releasing any of the info?
