For a program used to winning, there hasn't been much of that since 2015. It looks like recruits aren't too keen on the Big10. This year was the deepest that they've gotten since that final 4. The only thing saving Maryland coaches for both genders is that the athletic department is too cheap to pay buyouts

Right? Geez. While Biden’s team was smart to walk it back, I doubt the First Lady meant any harm. It was an exciting tournament for women’s basketball and I’m sure she was swept up in the experience of being at the game.

Yeah, terrible experience for them. They won the National Championship. Her teammates would have had a much better experience losing to the Great White Hope or if the refs helped the Great White Hope beat ‘em, like they did in some of the previous tournaments games. It’s a shame.

For WBB the Big 10 was the best conference in the country, with 4 teams (Iowa, Maryland, Indiana, and Ohio State) in ESPN's final rankings. The ACC had but one - Virginia Tech.

Brenda Frese has always run a classy program, and whether they are making it to the final four or not they are better than trashy Kim Mulkey and spoiled brats like Angel Reese. The chances that this woman doesn't end up in prison by the time she's 30 are miniscule.

That's what it's always been about for trash like you and Angel Reese. Absolutely could not deal at any level with a White star in "their sport." That was on its face "disrespect" to them.

Great if it fueled their performances but bad for society and Biden should let them know discretely that, notwithstanding the invitation, they are not welcome at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and that he'll find other things to do if they accept the invitation.

Caitlin Clarke is a great player, she just couldn’t beat LSU and she isn’t a National Champion this year.
