Hilaria already had a substantial following on social media before getting with Alec Baldwin. Most people of the younger generation are far more familiar with influencers than entertainment reporters. That Lauren was able to get into 50 Most Beautiful People years after marrying one of the most powerful people in the entertainment industry is not a flex or some sort of sign that she is superior to Hilaria or independently famous. Hilaria (insanely) got a whole spread in Latina magazine after marrying Alec.
