She didn’t break! She gave some mealy mouthed, “I agree Barr said something…” and she’s already taken it back. Please stop trying to whitewash Ivanka. She’s just as culpable.

She took it back?

Interesting. I’m sure all the people upset about gas prices will be outraged to hear the republicans priority is to investigate democrats instead of dealing with gas prices.

“[…] as Jan. 6 committee Chair Bennie Thompson emphasized after the official proceeding took place, Proud Boys and (I think) Oath Keepers were scouting and doing recon on the buildings of Congress hours before Trump spoke (and maybe days before too). They didn't go to Trump's speech area at all, that was never their intent or orders. They were setup, instructed to go to the Capital, and wait and prepare for the mob as "reinforcements" to their overall planned attack. There was no spontaneous mob that got out of hand. This was all planned to go down exactly as it went down, including the gallows for Pence.[…]”

I knew this, but I hadn’t really put the whole entire thing together. I am immensely hostile to the GOP, but I think a part of my brain just doesn’t want to accept that every GOP is a filthy traitor to this country, either directly or by continuing to support the party of treason.

The 40 minute NYT video I posted up thread shows this timeline. It was published 6-30-21. The point that Proud Boys were at the Capitol before Trumps speech has been largely over looked. It’s about a 30 minute March from the ellipse to the Capitol so it was intended. We already have all these facts but someone had to put them in order.

Looks like they're really hammering at the point that Trump knew the whole time that he lost the election. Stepien and Stirewalt will both cover that. Pak and Schmidt both resigned rather than create false fraud allegations - did they both talk directly with Trump?

And Benjamin Ginsberg??? Is he just an expert elections witness who (was?) a Republican? Because he's no friend of Trump.

She didn’t break from him. She’s doing what she’s done all along — trying to play both sides. She’s Daddy’s girl and will ride his coattails as far as they’ll take her, without ever standing up to Daddy in any meaningful way, but she’s also trying to appear softer, more thoughtful, more reasonable, more polished and polite, less extreme. She’s as shrewd, calculating, unprincipled and corrupt as he pr father is, but she has some social graces and comes in an attractive package, so people find her more palatable.

For those still crying, “where’s the crime!”…
Trump’s baseless boasting about having drawn the largest crowd for his inauguration was political spin; Trump’s lying that Joe Biden was not the legitimate president after he won the election was a crime – defrauding the United States of America as well as committing the grossest violation of his constitutional oath.

No, our software doesn't have that feature. But, I locked the other discussion rather than deleting it. So, the comments are still there.

Since they’re all Republicans who aren’t demanding that elected Republicans do anything about it, it’s unlikely they’ll care. This is what they want. Their pretend care about inflation and gas prices is just the Trojan horse.

Stepien's every other word is either "you know" and "uh, uh" and are incredibly annoying.

What was that wink??

I think it's just Stirewilt's personality, but conspiracists are going to take that as a sign he was just lying in his testimony. Lordy.
