Right we are doing nothing here

+1 I thought we could do this voluntarily. You know, based on common sense and a regard for the common good. Nope, we’re like toddlers who have to be penned up so we don’t stick forks into outlets. |
| If you want to totally shut down the country (even in places that don’t need to be shut down) and have the army beat people and drag them back into their homes, you’d be more comfortable in China. I am American and I will not live like that. |
A million times yes. Even Andrew Cuomo questioners the wisdom of https://nypost.com/2020/03/26/cuomo-admits-that-quarantine-may-have-backfired-in-some-cases/amp/?utm_campaign=iosapp&utm_source=twitter_app&__twitter_impression=true |
The best strategy is clearly to use the WHO tests and not develop our own. Test as many people as possible. Contact trace every positive case. Quarantine every positive case. This is what South Korea did but they had competent leadership. We had, don’t test don’t tell for two months. |
It took too long but we are now really testing a lot, especially in NY. This can be seen from our huge increases in numbers. |
Sounds so simple when you are just sitting at your computer eating Cheetos, typing it out on dcum! |
Haha! Don't test don't tell!!!! |
| UK prime minister, Boris Johnson, has tested positive for coronavirus. |
Except we had no tests, and still don't have them to be able to do that. We are way past that point. |

So it begins. All elective surgeries are getting cancelled, as far as I know.
Imagine how many cancer and other patients grave conditions will suffer from this and die early. Our healthcare system is already collapsing. |
I don't think removal of a cancerous tumor is "elective." Knee replacements, hysterectomies, foot surgeries, plastic surgery probably count as "elective." A breast lump or brain tumor is not going to be called "elective." |
All elective and non-critical surgeries are cancelled. That's not the same thing. But yes, this is all very terrible, directly and indirectly. |
You sound unwell |
