Well said! Criminals often make mistakes. It appears his hunger may lead to his arrest. Praying he is apprehended soon. Hats off to all the law enforcement agencies working together on bringing justice and answers for the family members. Including the suspect's family.

My husband employs 80+ people in DC. I always thought he was doing a good deed by giving people a chance to better themselves. He is quick to give loans to his employees. If this is putting our kids at risk I'm sure he will reconsider. Protecting your family is more important.

CNN is an embarrassment, period. Journalism has degraded in recent years but they are one of the worst. While they can get a story up very quickly, CNN is not a reliable source for news. I said goodbye years ago. Just my opinion, albeit strongly felt.

It's a silly debate but what the 'non-thug' thugs are saying is that he did not qualify as a thug prior to committing this act.

I think the burden is on you to tell us why he is not a thug.

Here are some definitions of the word:

a cruel or vicious ruffian, robber, or murderer.

a tough and violent man, esp a criminal

A cutthroat or ruffian; a hoodlum.

a violent criminal

And just in case you don't know what some of those things are:

ruffian:

a strong and violent person (especially a man) who threatens and hurts other people

hoodlum:

a tough and violent criminal

So, unless your qualm is with people not saying "alleged thug" instead (which I doubt since you didn't say "he is allegedly a fucking monster", I fail to see how he would not qualify as a "thug."
