My kid's RL team beat Ranger 5:0. In Socal, top GA team City is at most lower bottom ECNL team. City usually places their GA team in a lower bracket to play against Surf RL team.

Speaking of cali. Is tudela in ga or definitely joining ga or neither? Seems like they harvest some talent in that group

The bottom will always be the bottom. These clubs don’t play and sell players. It’s the same players moving clubs.

You know 3 of the GA's total events are in Norco, California, right? Unlike ECNL that has a ton to chose from at least..

U12-U14 West Regional
GA Winter Showcase
GA Playoffs

Other Events:
GA Champions Cup - Florida
GA Spring Showcase - North Carolina
GA Final 4 - Virginia


All of youth soccer is expensive, you look silly comparing two leagues that do the same thing. Winter months you have to go to warmer climates to play showcases, and that unfortunately for a lot of the country means flights. Reality.

And if you think this is expensive.. check out youth Hockey...

Better than going as a 6th seed to GA playoffs, where 4 college coaches will be on field 78C

I dont think Tudela (its a new club) has enough olders to field all the teams needed to play in GA. But you never know.

TFA is the one people are watching + waiting for an announcement from.

It's really not any better. The bottom fields at showcases, of any sport, will garner little attention from college coaches. However, if there is a specific player they want to see they will make an effort to see them.

You may get a few that will randomly stop by games for a short time. They likely won't be from a school any the parents here are interested in because their daughter is "too good for that place."

Just wait, Strikers who ECNL took girls ECNL away from when they switched their boys to MLSN have to be watching all the Socal action and evaluating if it's worth getting involved with girls again.
