Well, those black streamers don’t look any better on the model. So weird. The dress is otherwise pretty but its also rather casual/unconstructed, with the pockets and the visible gathering at the waist. Like a casual dress done with a formal fabric. Not a bad concept but an odd choice for a 50 year old woman attending a major event like this.

And how down to earth she seems in her high fashion Nazi regalia. What pride we all feel, seeing her in the garden she trashed for this beautiful Hatch Act violating occasion.

Nazi regalia? McQueen is a British designer, a gay, a person who grew up in a public housing and worked himself to the international recognition. I would not call people like that a Nazi.

THe Nazis would be sending McQeen to the gas chamber as a gay. Mcqueen is not a Nazi designer.

I think every modern military uniform designer was closeted. How else would you explain Qaddafi, idi amine, or the Prussians.

Prussia was a region/state: 1525-1932 Hardly a military uniform designer or relevant here. You don't make good point with that. Or even a point at all.
