The pro-life folk imagined a post-Roe world where there would be lots of healthy white babies born of women who didn't want their children and would give them to parents waiting desperately to adopt. The never thought about problem pregnancies, babies born addicted to drugs, babies born with multiple birth defects who would live very short, very expensive, very unpleasant lives, and they never, ever thought about brown babies who languish waiting for adoption. And they never considered the physical or emotional costs to the mothers of all these unwanted pregancies. Nor did they consider children made pregnant by rapists, and women facing death because of a pregnancy they need to abort.

Maybe try living in reality? Half of pregnancies in this country are unplanned.

They shouldn’t be. How about being a responsible adult and using adequate protection or abstaining? It seems like Democrats aren’t a smart enough to use protection. We have over 22 forms of birth control in this country. There should never be abortions unless for the exemption reasons.

And? Post Dobbs, if she had been lucky enough to live in a well educated part of the country, she would have had all of the disposal issues dealt with by the competent medical provider who could have helped a pregnant teen.

What does that even have to do with the fact that if she'd lived in a state that doesn't demonize and try to outright ban abortions, this teen would have gotten the help she needed probably at a much earlier stage of her pregnancy, and if she'd been able to go to a clinic or doctor's office or hospital to end her pregnancy they would have taken care of proper disposal?
