I guess TS is going for an academia theme with this new album. Department... chairman... manuscript. I work there and we are not so exciting lol. And I wish she had just written "chair" instead of chairman because lots of women are department chairs these days.

Also want to note that she said at the Grammys that she's been working the album for two years, and it sounds like it's in the can. So this is fully a breakup album (as the track list very much suggests). Though the timing might indicate that it's not just about Joe and I wouldn't be surprised if her rebound thing with Matt Healy gets some references here too, especially since she actually had a bit of a thing with him back in 2014ish before she met Joe.

You know, I think we all forgot how freaking messy Taylor Swift is. This is what she was like in her 20s, pre-Joe Alwyn. Just absolute chaos, shading people left and right, petty viciousness all the time. Not just exes but others too (remember the Katy Perry beef? the whole "hell is women who don't support other women" thing?). I think because she's blonde and sort of Southern (not really but she adopted a southern affect when she was in Nashville and it became part of her stage persona because she came up in country), people don't alway see it. But Taylor Swift is a drama machine. She starts beefs constantly. She sort of tamped it down when she was with Joe and I think Covid curbed her natural appetite for petty conflict, but she's back on her bull$hit.

She should just call it "I'm a messy b---- who loves drama."

I definitely see Matty making the cut. Their fling was messy from the beginning to end. Thoughts and prayers to Joe because i am sure she's going to mention his depression/mood swings. I hope he's getting extra support right now. I also feel like he was one of the few people in her life who wasn't a yes man. They balanced each other out and it kept her need for attention and egotistical traits at bay. Now that the relationship is over she's being messy and lashing out in full force. It's like she's making up for Iost time when she was private with Joe.

She's at the top of her game and has this fun new relationship but I can't help but to feel like she's spiraling a bit. My theory is she still hasn't fully processed the break up and instead has been stacking on distractions for short term gratification. I like how this has completely flip floped my opinion on her and Travis lol. I still like them and hope for the best though
