I begged VDOT to come since it’s 2 hr delay 15 kids have to walk through these icy roads ,
I am on with 2 hours Delay if at least VDOt came at least once , but they never did . I have no idea what happened this year . So disappointed!!!

Just keep your kids home. If you’re that worried, keep them home.
Think you missed all the teachers and parents here insisting tomorrow was going to apparently be the most important instructional day of the semester.

No one said that. Multiple people have said that it we be a normal day with the curriculum advancing, at least for HS students.

Reid is going to face huge backlash for this idiotic decision. Can’t wait to see it.

The drivers are really, really mad about this on their FB group. They’re who I feel for the most

Well they just got four days off didn’t they? In return they can hustle a bit, stay up late and learn the new routes.

STFU.

Most people have taken the kids for a 3 or 4 day weekend. Very few will be in school.

Most? You keep tabs on 180K students?

Bus drivers have an important job. However, given the circumstances, plan on busses being late tomorrow.

How late did they get the new stops and routes? Seems like they should’ve been in bed by the time they got them tonight. They have to get to their busses and warm them up — hoping they start.

Have we acquired the EV busses yet?

💯. There will be multiple accidents.

The poor bus drivers….I was skidding in our neighborhood going 5 mph in an SUV. I cannot imagine how the bus will navigate.

Not if they were out testing the roads to see if they are safe enough to drive their usual routes.

At the school board meeting tonight, Reid says she’s concerned about EV buses even working in the cold.

Your neighborhood is an outlier at this point.

Where are you all seeing anything about new bus routes? I didn't get anything about changes - did that info only go out to affected schools, or did I miss it somewhere?

So who do we complain to about this horrible decision?
