Nope.

Explain this as coherently as possible. I followed your link, went down the rabbit hole and I am cofused, to say the least.

He said this is watershed moment, but how remains to be seen though he hopes it’s used as an off ramp. He called out everyone, including naming GOP and MAGA to be civil and stop political violence.

He talked about Dems and Republicans coming together in Utah last night to talk about moving forward and even mentioned the toll watching violence on social media affects us.

Bravo! I see the tiniest light of hope thanks to this Republican. May he inspire people.

Utah and Mormons in general are pretty chill conservatives, despite Mormonism’s origins as a teen rape cult.

On the other hand, Mike Lee, it his family got eaten by Reaganism.

I’m pretty sure Mike Lee has been eaten by Russia. Reagan would turn over in his grave if he could see what Mike Lee has become.

The call is coming from inside the house.

Tyler Robinson:
- a young man
- a White Mormon from Utah
- Grew up in a two-parent, Republican family
- Father is a cop: a 27-year veteran of the Washington County Utah Sheriff's Department
- Family likes guns.

Is this right? Wow.

You were impressed with his religious crap? I am so sick of MAGA right wingers cramming their religious claptrap down our throats.

Charlie Kirk was anything but a saint and his deification by Trump and MAGA is terrifying. His death to his family is tragic and having had a member of my family murdered, I empathize with them but turning him into a folk hero is ludicrous. He advocated stoning gays!

Honey, he did not advocate for stoning gays. Where did you hear that?

Why is Kash taking credit? Looks like they would still be bumbling if the family friend hadn’t turned in the shooter.

citation for registered Republican? Is he a far-far right Nick Fuentes type?

Who is Nick Fuentes? Daisy’s spouse or kid?

He's is a far-right political pundit, livestreamer, white supremacist, antisemitic, and misogynistic guy. He is a self-described incel. He hated Charlie Kirk.

This is an Italian WW II anti-fascist song.

Perhaps it hasn’t helped that liberals repeatedly refer to Republicans as “fascist.”

Who should stop doing what?

Fascism is a far-right, ultranationalist, and authoritarian political ideology characterized by a dictatorial leader, centralized government, suppression of opposition, militarism, and the subordination of individual interests to the state.

Uh you’re forgetting the two legislators in MN.

That was not a public assassination. It took place in a private home.

What difference does THAT make?

Public assassinations tend to have a greater impact than private ones.

Public assassinations occur in front of witnesses or are captured by media, which amplifies the shock. The public setting turns the act into a spectacle, symbolizing a direct attack on shared values or leadership, which resonates widely and instantly. Private killings lack this immediate, communal exposure.

A public killing violates the sense of safety in shared spaces, making it feel like an attack on the public itself. Private assassinations feel more isolated, limiting the visceral sense of collective threat.

Hence the media coverage and why many are feeling this event deeply. It’s the first political assassination the public has witnessed in the US since 1968.

Correct. It’s terrorism as well

Why is it terrorism? One dude (Kirk), with a questionable reputation, was shot. He happened to have a political following, be wonder bread white, and was a YouTube influencer. Shooter is yet to be identified but appears to be another white American man of roughly the same age bracket. He used a gun, which Kirk politicized as a 2A right even if it might innocents get killed. And you say Kirk’s killing is terrorism. We fly flags at half mast and the body flies in AF2.

George Floyd is black. He also has a questionable reputation, but he was minding his on business. He was suspected of being high but quite happy. White cops detain him, and put him a chokehold (unprovoked) until he dies. People are outraged, get angry, and protest. MAGA (and probably PP) lose their mind, but they don’t view this killing as terrorism. Actually, the protestors are terrorists.

See any irony in all of that?

Floyd was not minding any business out in public, high on multiple drugs, driving high, fighting and running from police (store called that in), and not paying for items at the store.

Then BLM hoax was formed, burned down Kenosha, blm bought a mansion with the donations, harassed cities and restaurants for months after Covid, then went bankrupt.

Of course assassinating the keynote political speaker in public at a crowded event is terrorism and created immediate and widespread terror.

The police weren’t even called until after Floyd left the store. Floyd was sitting in a parked car when police arrived.

Correct, he was high, didn’t pay, got in an suv vehicle drivers seat high with two friends, store called police about theft and drug/driving risk, police came minutes later, Floyd refused to talk and ran off, Floyd refused to get in police SU?, Floyd flopped down on the ground to avoid getting into police vehicle, Floyd was restrained on the ground, Floyd died.
Nationwide BLM chaos, arson, thefts, threats, looting, deaths ensued; autopsy and trials ensued.

Great question.

Perceived fame, glory, manliness, power, fandom, self-righteousness.

Genuine lack of values, community, morals, ethics.

Probably confided in no one anything about feelings or emotions or good/bad/ugly. Jsut superficial convos.

This has been a very educational coups of days. I honestly had no idea before this week that he held some of these beliefs, and I really had no idea that a couple of people I know supported him. I’m not going to cut them off, but I definitely mentally moved them into the “do not trust” category.
