So she made a mistake. Just like the helicopter pilots. Luckily her mistake didn't kill 64 innocent people. |
Exactly. It’s not a f&@$ing taxi service. If there was a legit, national security reason for the transport, then there should be no reason to hide it. They will never say though. |
+1 But that won’t stop them from spouting off judgements as if they are experts. |
No one onboard the BH made that decision. They took orders. |

Exactly. Trump set the tone and the MAGA trash were happy to attack. MFers. |
+1 As demonstrated by this thread. |

FWIW I’m hearing it was simulating getting a govt official to safety as it was a COG (continuity of government) exercise.
“The missions are routine: In the event of a catastrophe, helicopters are often employed to usher government officials to safety.” |
You sound so horrifically judgmental. Personally, I could never be a pilot, or a surgeon, etc. because I couldn’t handle the responsibility of other people’s lives so directly depending on me. But someone needs to do these important jobs (and if you’ve ever flown on a plane, gone to a hospital, or hell, even take a subway or a bus then you agree). And people are not perfect; mistakes will be made. Unless these pilots were drunk or high or suicidal, it’s not a moral failing, it’s just a tragic accident. |
Trump was completely defensive at that press conference and Hegseth was nowhere to be found until much later. I think there is already a cover-up. |
Of course she knew about the privacy settings. But she is a spouse in grief who did lose a husband and her kids lost their father so that is her mindset when asking for pictures of him, not that he potentially was at fault or that that would make her grief any less. |
Why were these flights still taking place?

There’s nothing weird about military people being at the WH. Good grief. Stop. |
