We have run into some issues and quickly need to earn/raise 2000 $ but we are not sure how. I cannot take out any loans or borrow from family. Dh is out of work and I make just enoughy full time to secure the rent, utilities, groceries and the little luxuries like gas and car mat. We need to raise this money quickly. Any ideas? Btdt?
Also dh gets unemployment but we use that to make the full payments on things |

Could your husband look for some short term day work? I know I've hired people to help me move off of Craigslist, things like that.
I had a similar financial emergency and was able to come up with the money by asking to take a month off on my car payment (that was a few hundred bucks), submitting a bunch of receipts I'd been saving for my HSA, temporarily changing my witholding on my paycheck at work, finding creative ways to eat what was in my pantry, and selling some stuff. None of these things actually brought in money, they basically just moved expenses from the present to the future (e.g. I had planned on submitting those receipts in time to buy Christmas gifts, and I'll now have to pay one month longer on the car payment), but they took care of the emergency. Good luck! |

Sell the car -- and buy another worth $2000 less.
(That is assuming of course, your car is worth more than $2k). |
| $2000/45 is $45 per day. I would put him to work somewhere - craigs list is a good idea. |

Look long and hard at your grocery list/shopping. Make drastic cuts. After all, this is temporary.
