When I need to make a little extra here + there, I do some side jobs.
I.e., cleaning houses, baby~sitting, caring for elderly people, etc.

The full payments on what things? Are you paying your credit cards in full rather than just the minimum payments? Apply for food stamps and utility assistance. Can you switch to a cheaper health insurance plan at work? Sell one car if you have two.

Craigslist, message board at the grocery store, talk to local clergy to see if they know of people in need, make announcement on your local listserve.
