I can pull in $1,000 a month mystery shopping. It isn't much fun and takes a lot of time but it helps pay the bills.

You might not make that much at first and some companies are slow to pay so you might not get it all in 45 days but you could juggle payments.

My Dh does mystery shopping sometimes, but it usually takes at least 45 days to get paid--and sometimes you have to put out your own money and get reimbursed, which also does not get paid out for 45 days.

The Volition forums are a good place to start for list of legitimate companies. Everything and everyone gets mystery shopped eventually.

Fast food, fine dining, banks, car dealerships, parking garages, casual dining, almost all retail, etc. I once made $20 pretending I was interested in lasik. I made $80 dragging my husband to a high end retailer to pretend he need a new suit.

Fees range from $2 for a 5 minute call to $45 or $50 for something really involved and detailed.

You need patience, good observation skills, an ability to blend in and a boatload of free time.

I used to work as a secretary for a construction company--and I know we often hired temp workers in general manual labor positions. Some of them were hired long term (months at a time), while others were only hired for a day or two, depending on the specific needs of the project.
They were not doing any skilled work (electricians, plumbers, etc) it was more like --move that pile of boxes from over here, to way over there--type of thing

Did you work in a restaurant during college years? They are all hiring, specially for weekend nights an brunch.You can start making money as soon as same day.
We had hostesses making $10 an hour from 6pm to 12 am.Servers made about $200 a night.
