Saw an article from earlier this month about evidence that may discredit the key witness. Why the secrecy in the proceedings?
Thoughts? http://www.politico.com/story/2013/04/key-witness-in-chandra-levy-case-could-be-discredited-89983.html |
| Very interesting. If I remember correctly the investigation after her disappearance was totally botched, and it was years later that they tied the guy (already in prison) to her murder- which just seemed too convenient, for lack of a better word. |
| Why the secrecy? Because the real killer of Chandra, setup Guandique. Witness # 10 in the Guandique Affidavit is a serial killer that provided info that lead to Morales and the charges on Guandique. |
| Wouldn't surprise me at all if perp is a "serial killer," for he is most assuredly a psychopath. |
| And believe me, I'm not talking about these players, but the biggest player of all. |
You are scaring the shit out of me. What or who are you talking about? |
| To get a broader understanding of the Levy case, read "Murder on a Horse Trail." |
| I always thought it was weird that she went jogging in Rock Creek Park the day she disappeared. Apparently she was wary of running there, especially alone, according to her friends. She usually worked out at the gym. |
| Who are you talking about, PP? Who do you think did it? |
| The Gary Condits (plural) did it, and that,s why all the secrecy for now. |

Charges against Guandique dropped. Let's hope the piece of information that prosecutors received last week which makes that case impossible to prove points to somebody else.

Damn right. |
My guess is some sort of DNA evidence proves it wasn't Guandique. |
She had actually worked out earlier in the day at the gym. In fact, my friend signed in right after her that day and was interviewed by the FBI. She actually wasn't wearing her running shoes - they were back at her apartment. She was wearing Keds. I always thought it was someone she knew - that she was meeting someone there. In one article I read, it said she had her lipstick with her. No woman goes for a run with her lipstick unless she's planning on meeting someone along the way. |
