That’s odd. Pence promised them weeks ago.

Please take this to politics. Also, you should be looking to your state's governors and complaining to them. We live in a Republic. The feds aren't supposed to supply everything. Call your governor or state representative |
This is a national emergency, exactly the sort of situation that the federal government should be leading to properly allocate resources. Is it time to disband the US? |
https://www.thenews.com.pk/print/634294-maj-gen-s-son-dies-of-covid-19-in-us So sad. |
And the states are supposed to be running their own state because the governor is closer to the constituent base, and understands better what the needs are than does the federal government. Each state should have prepared. Other than Cuomo where are the governors? And even Cuomo is blaming the federal government. Cuomo wants ventilators. NY could have bought them and prepared years ago but did not. Trump is right to say "stop looking to me - order your own ventilators". Other states will need them too. Each state should have prepared better for emergency preparedness. Nothing in the constitution says the federal government should be doing anything in this situation. "All other powers reserved to the states . . . " it says in the U.S. Constitution. |
Ha! Do you really not understand that when we are dealing with a pandemic, health IS politics? A pandemic requires swift action, correct prioritization, and truth-telling--NONE of which this administration can claim. |
No, it doesn't make sense for states to bid against each other in a national/global pandemic. Everyone knows this. This is the job of the federal government, and they're not doing their job. |
I will stick with the neutral case graphs tab on worldometer. What is with the music, geez. |

This is interesting-suggests there may be substantial herd immunity already:

It turns out it wasn't in face covid-related. Still a tragedy. |
So the news story was incorrect? What happened then? |
You should read what the actual companies that are manufacturing/supplying the tests are saying. |
Oh mylanta. This is classic DCUM delusion at its finest. "oh no! How will I ever tell my 7 year old that her precious easter day with her cousins won't happen?! - she'll be heartbroken!" GMAFB. Out of one side of your mouth, you cite how we should all care about others during this ordeal and we should keep perspective about that. Out of the other side of your mouth you talk about a 7 year old being sad that her easter egg hunt will be cancelled. Your inability/inconsistency in grasping perspective is pretty impressive. Well done. |
This is someone who is still grasping at how things were and has not reached some kind of acceptance. Lady, you need to hear this. It is not a “might” not happen kind of thing. That Easter party WILL not happen. And you could have helped your daughter understand that at least a week ago. Start to plan something for just your household that will feel meaningful. |
