There is no kool aid, this isn't Jonestown. You are unhappy because you didn't get your way. If you were out of this cluster, you would be all for social change.
I don't live in that cluster. I am deeply embedded in W clusters. Mrs Evans and Superintendent Smith would have to reach their NAACP wired tentacles through a fire wall to get to me. Doesn't stop me from seeing bullsh!t. I am pretty sure you are a mcps plant because no one who saw that plan thinks it's for the greater good.

It's very common DCUM for people to say something like "Nobody likes [X]" or "Nobody thinks that [Y]", when what they really mean is, "I don't like [X]" or "I don't think that [Y]". Has anybody else noticed this?

And you are wrong on every account in that statement.

Yes. It will be the largest high school building in the state.
Thanks. Did Germantown get bigger jails to accommodate the bigger feeder school? I am joking. Couldn’t resist. The previous comments seem a bit over the top.

You're not joking, your just a small minded individual make a hateful statement and pawning it off as a 'joke'. You're a TROLL. Shame on you.

OK all in favor of Option 11a please come forth and say why. Explicitly why. Not regurgitating nonsense like it is for the greater good.
Greater Good of Clarksburg and Cabin Branch and Gibbs and Daly and Fox Chapel? It can easily be argued that all of them are losers in this scenario.

Dude. We're on p. 202 of this thread. Lots of people have already explained the reasons for their opinions. You just disagree, is all. And it's highly unlikely that yet another explanation is going to change your mind.

I was really aiming for the intelligent life on the message board to comment but I'm happy you felt compelled to participate as well. I did not read all 200 pages.

Hard to identify how this plan is nothing but a damaging temporary stop gap. Rocky Hill will be damn near 40% FARMS now. How is that helping with spreading the poverty around. Neelsville is still over 50% FARMS. Everyone else stayed the same essentially. Gibbs/C/CB are now being bused Southbound on 355 making a congested area even more congested in the morning. Just yesterday a school bus crashed on Middlebrook RD and the kids had to stand out there until they could be be switched to another bus. Imagine next fall when this is crap show unfolds. Kudos to SVHS though. They came out peachy. No more colored folks and a new school to boot.

Short minded and racist. Thanks for your opinion. Happy Thanksgiving.

expound. How is this short minded when I pointed out the problems with the new zones? All the "supporters" have to say is it will make things more equitable and if you don't like it you are racist. But where is the equity? Show me where.

You're right, I don't think that there is enough done i this plan and should have gone much, much further in leveling the field. I personally think that Neelsville should have been split up more. I personally would have spread more of Clarksburg around. Of course, this is just an opinion. Your last statement is utterly racist. That's a fact.

Why is my last sentence racist? Because I used the word "colored". You know what the C in NAACP stands for? I have been introduced as the colored guy many times and I don't get offended. You prefer if I say Black and Brown?
