| I have never worn spanx or any type of shapewear. After two kids my belly has a permanent pooch that just won't go away. I recently bought some tummy firming underwear and now I'm hooked. It has lace and actually looks kind of sexy. I'm wondering if I'm the only 30 something wearing this stuff?? Is it meant for older women? I never thought I would be wearing shapewear everyday but it is magic! |
| Hell no. But I'm only 25. |
| Wear it all the time. Spanx is my choice but I also like Donna Karan. It gives smooth lines and holds everything in, looks particularly great with wrap dresses. |
|
I would, but it's too hot. And I'm not sure it makes much difference.
Can you share your underwear brand though?! |
| I wear shapewear anytime I'm wearing a skirt or dress, without question. Before shapewear existed, I used to wear compression shorts. It's partly to help smooth everything out, but mostly to prevent sweating and chafing. Embrace the shapewear, nothing wrong with wearing it! |
| Hell yes. Childbirth is not nice to a woman's midsection. If I still want to wear dresses and skirts that don't look like muu muus, I get out the Spanx. |
| All the time-- I'm only 28, but feel I need it after two children and a belly that just won't go back to it's pre-kid condition. |
| Another hell yes! I wear spanx and target brand assets nearly every day. I hate having to do it but after 2 kids, it's essential. Thinking about some ab lipo bc I'm sick of it.....especially in this hot weather! |
| Only when I'm wearing a slinky dress and want a smooth line, usually on formal occasions. The rest of the time I can't be bothered with it. |
| I'm a spanx/assets fan, too, but wore some earlier this week and came home miserable and chafed. Any breathable options out there? Summer's a-coming. |

27 year old mother of a 7 month old here. Nope...my body pretty much bounced back to my pre-pregnancy shape.
I wore it once before I got pregnant and was wearing one of those skin tight bandeau type dresses that were popular a couple of years ago. Took them off halfway through the evening because they were so uncomfortable. |
Same here. I'm 33, no kids. |
| "I haven’t left the house without lycra on these thighs since i was fourteen." |
| Rarely. I hate it and I'm lucky enough to have great genes (and I work out a ton). |
You should bookmark this page and come back in 3 years, after another kid or two. Heehee. |
