Do you wear shapewear?

I am skinny, but I have no butt. Every once in a while, I will where the Spanx that have the butt padding in them. I hope nobody tries to grab my #ss, or they will get a handful of padding.

How do I avoid this?

Mine did too. It was very annoying. So I took to exercising more. Now its not a problem, I just skip it.

You didn't get a good one. Try Flexees. I don't like Spanx. I actually think they are the worst on the market. Hanes in CVS is 10 times better.

Okay miss perfection. Thanks for letting us all know.

I've never worn shapewear. But, after I have my DC next fall, I suspect I will be buying stock in Spanx.

If you're wearing a dress-- particularly one that clings to your figure-- shapewear makes you look 10 times better, I don't care how awesome your body is. Everyone in Hollywood wears shapewear when they're walking the red carpet. (My best friend works in the film industry-- trust me, it's true.)

Get the shapewear that is high-waisted. Anything that comes right to your waist is probably going to roll. I wear the spanx high waste short things and love them. Wish they weren't so hot in the summer, though ...

I don't care for Spanx. Many of the issues others have mentioned. I'm looking for a different brand that performs better.

Try Bali for firming underwear and shapewear. I wear the moderate control stuff and find it smooths out the lumps and is more comfortable than Spanx. Much cheaper too. Amazon has best prices.

Hell yeah and I'm 18% BMI.

I wear Spanx at least three or four (or more) days a week with dresses and skirts. They make a huge difference for me, but then again I'm pretty chubby. I wear the Spanx higher power and put them on BEFORE I put my bra it. Then I put my bra on, which keeps them from rolling down.

Anonymous wrote:Those of you wearing Spanx. Can you give us a link of what you would wear under, say, a wrap dress? Every time I've tried shapewear separates, I've ended up with muffin top or they've rolled down at the top - way worse than going without.

I have a shapewear piece that's basically like a unitard only with shorts-lenth legs. Or you can think of it as a bathingsuit with compression shorts attached. The front is very low cut to allow for a bra. I'll admit that it's a PITA when you want to go to the bathroom b/c even though it has one of those holes in the bottom, I hate using those. But for wrap dresses or for clingy sweater dresses in the winter, this thing is the best. I bought it at target.

So do all you people who wear Spanx and its competitors ever have spontaneous sex? Can't imagine wearing all that stuff and having to take it off in front of a guy.

I wouldn't wear it if there were a good chance I was getting undressed in front of anyone else.
