Thanks for the dictionary definition. Clearly doesn’t apply to a political party. |
NBC got shot for that, too. https://apnews.com/c5ecf76c62ec4c398e35020b5df01061 |
| Tara Reade is the definition of "hot mess." |
| Trump ratf@ckers have gone strangely silent.... |
|
Foxnews.com no longer has Reade splashed all over the top of the page. You have to hunt for it, and it's a small headline saying DNC is calling for an investigation--probably a day or two old.
Wonder what happened.... |
Sorry, NY Times is calling for the DNC to investigate. And The NY Times call almost certainly predated whatever just happened about Reade's story, maybe by just a few hours. |
|
This makes no sense.
|
I agree. Any complaint should be investigated, let the chips fall where they may. In this case, I suspect they won't find credible evidence. |
|
Can we at least put to rest the Trumpeter dumpster accusation that the liberal media didn't do anything on this?
I agree they were slow to get on the case. But it turns out there are a lot of inconsistencies and little corroboration. Reputable journalists (not Fox) aren't going to go into attack mode over something like this. Nevertheless: - NY Times called on the DNC to investigate - MSNBC invited her on their show but she declined - NPR has done several pieces on her, despite doing its own in-depth investigation and finding no confirmation - NY Times and the Washington Post investigated and said there were many inconsistencies plus lack of corroboration - More I'm sure I'm missing Let the DNC investigate. I, too, doubt they'll find much. This is the DNC after all. But more importantly, so far there doesn't seem much to find. I'm open to changing my mind, but I'll need more than what we have so far. |
Totally agree. But The New York Times editorial board calling for the DNC to do an investigation is the dumbest idea ever. No one will actually think that that is a real investigation. |
