The left? It is Bolton's book and there was a copy sent to the white house. Who on the left is involved? |
Yes, it was. And who’s at the White House that leaks? Now, mind you, all we have is the media’s promise of what’s in the book. |
You didn’t answer the question. |
Yes but this whole sequence is forseeable, and it's not Nancy Pelosi's machinations that brought it about. We knew Bolton's opinion about the Ukraine situation from Fiona Hill's deposition in October. A few weeks later the story broke about Bolton's book. November 9, specifically. If you are Bolton and writing a tell-all book about this mess, are you going to refuse to testify and THEN publish it? No. So ask yourself: If you are Bolton, how do you make sure you are on the record before the Senate votes? 1. Write your memoir in record time. It was what, 3 months from his firing to landing a book deal and finishing a draft? There are probably cranberry stains on the thing. 2. Have your lawyer tell everyone you have new and relevant information on Ukraine. 3. Hold a presser with the entire washington press corps to declare you will honor a subpoena, eliminating the delay of getting the courts to declare that you *must* do so. By doing so he gives up legal protection if Trump comes after him. 4. You decide that now is the right time to circulate a draft of your book, ensuring that it is in the hands of enough people that something will come out. This took a lot of dedication on Bolton's part to achieve. He is pulling the strings here. He has dumped it in the lap of the Senate on purpose, at the exact right time. |
You worry about the leaking, not the criminal behavior and lying by POTUS. So typical of a Republican. No one in the WH with access to the manuscript has been shown to be liberal anyway. It's probably a conservative who is concerned about a criminal "president." LOL. He's being out played at every turn. |

So who on the left leaked it? Inquiring minds want to know. Oh, wait.. you have no f*n clue. |

“The Washington Post reported this morning: “Bolton was regularly appalled by what he saw from the president, the people close to him said. He wondered at times if Trump was acting in America’s best interest or if he was inspired by nefarious reasons, according to a person familiar with the book.”
“Inspired by nefarious reasons.” We don’t yet know what John Bolton is going to say about his time in the White House. What we’ve learned so far has been pretty explosive, and it seems likely that he will be called to testify in the Senate Impeachment trial. But if I am right, and the tale he tells is about an American President repeatedly doing the bidding of Russia to the detriment of the national security of the United States, then we are not just looking at the end of the Trump Presidency but a scandal of potentially world altering proportions.” https://medium.com/@Simon_Rosenberg/where-bolton-is-headed-putin-71e09cff2e0c

Who at this point is *wondering* if Trump is acting for nefarious reasons?! The understatement and hedging is irritating, all these years into this. And yet one remains optimistic, doesn't one, that perhaps evil won't win. |

This leak is by Anonymous or one of his ilk at the White House. There is evidence that neither the accusation nor the defense, nor anyone in Congress were aware of this until the NYT published their article. |
Whoa. There goes my “ladytown” again! |
Seriously. R's somehow think that if they could control leakers, then they can acquit Trump, act totally shocked when the book comes out, and then they are off the hook for not calling Bolton to testify?? Bolton did you a favor by sending these drafts around now. He made it obvious that you have to call him. |
Nope, Trumpsters won't think it's the end. They will just *shrug* and say, "but the illegal immigrants!". |
The publisher? The agent? Some Obama-holdout in State? |
