If you are talking about the usual big 3 that this board recognizes: Albans, maybe. Not Sidwell and damn sure not GDS.

The traditional lax powers in IAC were Landon and Prep.

Why are we talking about lacrosse?

Fake news......GDS will never be a big 3.

And lax is hugely popular throughout the mid-atlantic and new england and gaining popularity in Colorado and the west coast.

Thanks for confirming you are a nut job

Who are the "Big 3"? Emphasis on the air quotes.

That is not what “air quotes” means.

...and with a "pro league" that was so poor, one of its stars had to start his own one.

But very popular at the college level and one of the fastest growing youth sports.

It’s been “fastest growing” for quite a long time now, and still nowhere near becoming a major sport. Especially when the pro games have attendance in the low four figures. That’s like below average for minor league baseball. Relatively speaking, lacrosse is hardly a successful business compared to the major sports.

Hey lunatic, we are posting in a high school forum so it should be obvious even to you that our focus is on the popularity of lax at the high school level.

Who is the "lunatic"?

Who cares about LAX. How many play it past high school or college? You all place far to much focus on sports.

Chances are super low that people play any sort at a level beyond college

Seriously. If you’re not a serious sports family it’s really hard to see the point of most private high schools.

Well who cares once your sport gets you into a SLAC/Ivy/top 50 school.
