It depends on the public. Ours is terrible. We should have never left private but child doesn't want to switch yet. Why not send your kid to a big 3 if they are so great? |
| Too 5 percent do fine at Bullis. Don’t they everywhere? It’s the drop off after the top 5 that is remarkable. |
| And made up. |
Not made up. I don’t get too worked up about college placements because a school can only massage around the edges on college placement A kid without a hook who isn’t Ivy material isn’t going Ivy whether they attend Bullis or St Albans or their neighborhood public. I care more how my kids’ character and curiosity and love for learning is fostered. The real problem with the very real dropoff at Bullis is that the classroom behavior is atrocious outside of the honors classes which limits the learning environment and the social environment encourages behaviors I don’t care for. |
What a statement |
| So funny |

| The place is a joke. Athletics above all else. Then it's about who has the most money. Cliques about as does favoritism based on parent donations and teacher children. |
Oh .. your right it is a W... Watkins Mill |

Bullis: its not the public school you pay for. It's way worse.
|
Thank you for sharing. However your elitist statement proves you haven't seen many public schools. |
| The big 3 are historic lacrosse schools. A sport that no one cares about outside the beltway. They are mad about the shift in power. |
That is at every top private. |
