Should I go nuclear on @MichaelCohen212? Who I know from years ago and who tried to approach me last summer to help “change the narrative” (also known as LIE) about the President?

I’m hearing it as: he didn’t want a job at wh.
And the sdny/mueller/whoever it was statement about the topic, coming for Cohen, is that he was expecting a job and texted friend about it. As in a job was possibly in the works, not that he wanted it.

Either way, it’s a lame thing to get caught up parsing words. People’s desire to take a job or achieve a certain one changes from time to time. Dh just experienced this when interviewing and figuring out his next step for a new job.
