She had also been drinking, so that could certainly cloud her memory of events.

This just doesn’t “smell” right.

And, the fact that she is a college professor (in CA, no less) lends it even less credibility.

She had one beer. Kavanaugh and Judge were the ones who were drunk.

ACCORDING TO HER. Honestly, why is it that you only believe one side of this story?

+1 and I hope her life can handle the scrutiny

That sounds like a threat.

PP here. Not at all, but it would be very naive to think her life won't be scrutinized. (I'm a female, FWIW)

es, I have. And because of that, I believe her. I also believe the 65 women who signed the letter stating they think he is a saint. Both things can be true and she is likely telling the truth. This kind of stuff routinely happened to me and my friends. We didn’t talk about it until recently with the metoo stuff. He needs to step down. We cannot have another assaulter on the Supreme Ct. Not in 2018.

Please quit the drama. Thomas was not accused of assault. He was accused of harrassment and even that was open to interpretation. And, the playbook was precisely the one the Dems are using now. Wait until the hearings are over and then bring out the charges.

This smells. Thomas called it a modern day lynching. The same thing is possible here.

The woman isn't sure when it happened--even which year it was.
She didn't tell anyone--and young girls talk.
Memories change, and sometimes exaggerate. She was in couples therapy with her husband and dredged this up.

Shades of Rolling Stone.

Ooooooh! That RS reference is good! Build on that!!

The mentally I’m CA professor obviously concocted this story after George Soros offered to pay her for it!! She’s just in it for the money!

Slut, mentally ill, liar!!

Keep it up!!

I realize that you think you're being clever, but you just seem unhinged.

I suppose if you’re holding your nose, no. For everyone else whose brain is not whacked out on Fox, it sounds completely credible.

Looks like we have another Anita Hill moment, y’all.

Lindsey Graham invites her to speak before the Senate Judiciary Committee before they vote..

You have to look at motivation. Who has more motivation to lie?

Telling this story does her NO good. She will suffer greatly for going public. She has everything to lose, and nothing to gain. She has zero incentive to lie.

Kavanaugh, on the other hand, has every incentive to lie to protect his career, his reputation and his nomination.

She is being clever. And she’s doing a good job mocking and predicting the losers who are following the script exactly.

Well, I'm amazed that some people think every single woman's version is correct, and the man's is incorrect.

it absolutely will, and that's not even the most persuasive reason to believe her.
