What's going on with FCBEscola NOVA?

Not the OP, but my experience is that when you tell people to breath and relax, it comes off very condescending and rude. I'm not sure all those posts are helpful as a result.

Fine. Panic for all it will do. It is still July, practice hasn’t even begun yet so by all means panic when several people have all spoken from experience and their good faith advice gets ignored. Yes when something needs to be repeated several times it becomes condescending.

To the OP, stop being dismissive of what reasonable answers people have given and accept the answers for what they are.

So you are determined to be rude. Duly noted.

The whole "breath and relax" thing has been from the outset. It has not had to be repeated so many times, and I think the push back has been more uptight than the OP requests.

The condescension has been a constant theme. The nicest post was the poster who at least said "welcome". Maybe you should also take your own advice if a few questions about uniforms make you panic.

Yoga friend, it sounds like you are brand new. Welcome! We really had a great experience last year. You will continually frustrate yourself next year if you don’t learn to go with the flow. The Spanish run on a different mentality. They are sharp and prompt at training/games and directly soccer-related—but they have many things/directives from the front FCB office in Barcelona that causes delays for things like uniforms due to Nike sponsorship and trademarks, etc. the kits last year came directly from them so it was hard to get extras of things at times.

But—the soccer/training, sessions, etc are fantastic.

There are 400 other people so your child will not be the only one who has not ordered. We are one family as they like to say.

Thank you master Yoga!! Helpful post that explains a lot.

(but no more relaxation advice, even though you explaining the Spanish mentality was helpful. I'll do me, and you do you. It will go better for us both.)

If the notification isn't sent to order, I'll send my kid in PJs once practice starts. As long as they know it's on them, I could care less about kits. Having multiple kids in sports, you can only be as prepared as you are informed. Could communication be better? Sure, there is always room for improvement but don't sweat it. You aren't paying to wear a jersey, especially with a club like Barca where you can pick up a Messi Jersey at any local soccer store. As long as the training is sound, that's all you should be worried about.

Oh, I got the email last night go order now. Just kidding!

Geez, you all are so uptight about telling people not to be uptight. Kind of ironic actually....

You have been answered. Nobody has yet ordered. Most people are fine with it (for now). Your child will not be punished by the club. So yes, stop jumping on folks for suggesting to relax while also answering your questions. You are dragging the board down with your sensitivity over a Type A first world problem here. EVERYONE is in the same boat as you and we are weeks away from panic.

When folks have been communicated to we will post here what we know. That will just have to do for now. Ok?

It's monday morning and folks are buying time before having to work, so poking fun isn't the same as uptight. BTW, if you all are spazzing about unis, can't wait to see how your in season banter looks like.

1. I think everyone is clear on the kits. No ONE. No ONE is asking about that. Everyone has said "got it", so can the lamaze posters please just do their breathing exercises?

2. Why in the world do questions ever make anyone panic? If you know the process, follow it. Don't get so easily distressed.

3. Some people's kids may just be excited about the program. Is that a bad thing?

4. If you are still upset, please, take a break from the board. It's ok. No one will blame you. This is an anonymous board with who knows who is on here from the 400 families? Just go ahead and take a break.
