When? What did SJP actually say? For years through all of the rumors about a feud, both women stated publicly over and over again that there was no feud, that they valued each other, and pointing out the trend of Hollywood trying to pit women against each other. This goes on through SATC 2 production, at which point the most SJP said was that when you're working those kinds of hours away from home, you're exhausted, people are sensitive or insensitive, feelings get hurt, but that none of it amounted to a feud and they liked each other and were glad to be working together. All through negotiations for SATC 3, SJP held firm in this position every time she was asked about feud rumors, that they were just rumors, that they all cared about each other, and that even when there were rough moments that didn't mean it was anything more than that. She never suggested that anyone in the cast was a problem.

Even when it came out that SATC 3 was cancelled, all she said was that she was disappointed not to be able to make the movie, but didn't say anything about why it wasn't happening. Yes, rumors leaked that it was because Kim Cattrall was the reason, but it's pure speculation that SJP was the one putting it out there, she never said it publicly, public statements came from other cast members. Then suddenly back in October, Kim Cattrall goes on Piers Morgan and rips into SJP over the whole thing, makes a whole bunch of vague comments but never actually commits to what SJP allegedly did wrong. Even after that, all SJP said was that she was "heartbroken" over Cattrall's comments because that wasn't how she remembered it, that working with everyone on the show was a privilege and a special experience. She didn't attack Kim Cattrall at all. And then after Cattrall's brother died, she expressed her condolences. You can take issue with how she did it, but it's not like she said something rude or cutting, her message was kind.

If I have missed some public statement by SJP criticizing Kim Cattrall, please share a link to it. But if you're going to rely upon rumor and speculation, whatever.

Honestly when I saw Sarah Jessica Parker’s following Kim’s brither’s death, I thought it was weird and almost offensive and this was before I saw Kim go off. There was no need for SJP to be public and no one buys that she could not get in touch. She has access everywhere and if Kim didn’t answer so what. She just lost her brother. If a reporter asked SJP about Kim’s brother’s death it would be fair to say it was said and that she reached out but publicly making an Instagram post so the world knows affirmatively that you checked the box is weird. Have a feeling the first answe if Kim saying Thanks was a publicist and then Kim got to the Instagram with a oh hell no!!

Say what? It's really hard to follow what you are saying.

SJP did not make a post. She replied to KC's post, the same way that 1000s of other people did. In fact, KC dedicated an entire IG post to telling everyone that she doesn't need SJP's support.

Kim was extremely professional. I think that's exactly how I would describe her. She isn't the character. She's much more reserved. She was quiet and she was kind. One fun fact: they used capris a lot because we often had pants that were too short. Pat just decided to turn them into capris.

I worked on the show for about 6 years. I actually was Pat's employee and she eventually had me doing more and more work on set. So, I was a production subcontractor essentially.

In terms of clothes, my favorite thing I got to work on was Kristin's wedding dress when she got married the first time. I also did all of the kilts (everyone, including Kyle McLaughlin, wore boxer briefs, fwiw).

I loved working for Pat, but decided to move in a different direction and went to grad school in Chicago. I work in PR now. Years later, I'm just another harried working mom in Fairfax with kids.

I do make excellent Halloween costumes, though

The girls come together for the funeral and take stock of where they are, whine about their boo hoo problems, and ultimately realize that Sam lived her life to the fullest to the very end...and only the good die young. They make a pact to put themselves first and agree to dump their husbands. Carrie moves back to her old apartment, Miranda gets a rental in the city, and the brunette still has her fabulous apt.

The gays make an appearance near the end of the film. They're happily married with children and have a perfect NYC life. Thx girls are a little disappointed that the gays aren't up for partying, and for a moment they wonder if they made a mistake. Nonetheless, they preservere and continue to go shoe shopping and have brunch...just the girls (who are now old ladies), single and "fabulous."

It's really strange that you know enough of the details/subplot lines to take the time to write this all out but can't even remember/be bothered to look up Charlotte's name.

It took me less than 5 mins to type it up. I haven't actually seen the movies---just episodes of the show here and there. It's really not that hard to imagine a movie plot since the entire show was based on narcissistic behavior of emotionally stunted girls. And thank you for reminding me that the brunette was Charlotte. I would never bother to "research" a ridiculous DCUM post on satc...I mean, c'mon.
