Nah, I actually agree with that impression too. Not absurd at all |
| Kids should not be allowed to run around in restaurants. That's all. |
Great, so we think alike except for the odd reference you made to a "gutter term." I also have the right to dine where and when I want and either with or without my children. I do not "let" my children run around restaurants. If one of them misbehaves, I immediately work to correct it. It seems like you are the perfect parent and do not have any issues to address except for making sure kids do not inadvertently use gutter terms, so congratulations. |
But they don't drink jasmine tea or eat jasmine rice! Now what? |
Duh, the perfect birthday present -- jasmine tea for mom; jasmine rice for dad. |
Referring to someone as a 'special needs martyr queen' is not compassionate. So, you are setting a terrible example for your kids. And how is 'kids' a gutter term while 'SN martyr queen' apparently is not in your world? Seems inconsistent. |

Get off your A$$ and parent your kids! You clearly were more concerned connecting with your buddy and left your wife with your 18 month old and out of control 3 year old. 18 month old walked multiple times into the kitchen! 3 year old ran around with chopsticks playing drums on EVERY table in the restaurant. After you took the chopsticks away (it would have been great if you took a bag of items out for the kid to play with) the 3 yo decided to pick up the tray stand and walk around the restaurant. FYI - it is a family friendly restaurant - but it is not a playground. If you are to hip to bring things to entertain your child at the restaurant - engage with your child. All the other people at the restaurant figured it out. We may not have been as hip as you - but my families' time at a restaurant is not to entertain your kid. Sorry to infringe on the opportunity to connect w your buddy - I was trying to have quality time as well. |
