That would explain, at least in part, the difference in reaction between Charlotte and Tulsa.
The east coast is more populated than OK is - more outside agitators come to Charlotte.

There was a story that showed some of the same people at Ferguson was in Baltimore. Paid protesters/agitators? Now, a quick search gave up the following and I don't know much about the site so fwiw here it is.

LOL, "I don't know much about the site". Do yourself a favor and keep it that way. Newsmax is essentially Trump on steroids. A complete racist mess.

Yes, it's on the opposite side of the aisle from CNN. Funny how that sometimes happens.

They are actually both on the same side of the aisle. Newsmax is just a few miles further to the right. I can't even think of a comparable left site and if there were one I wouldn't waste my time with it.

Just did a quick search on liberal sites

Daily Kos
Eschaton
Crooks And Liars
Buzzflash
Mother Jones
Counterpunch
Think Progress
Raw Story

I have seen links to Daily Kos and Mother Jones here. Never heard of the others

The Roots is very biased and I see it cited here a lot.

FYI newsmax is extreme though.

If they're smoking pot then it should quell a lot of the violence. lol

Booze however is another story. It is an epidemic that no one talks about.

These high on drugs and drunk folks ain't going home at midnight without a fight.

Police in Charlotte have confirmed to ABC News that they have video that shows Scott had a gun in his hand during his interaction with police officers before he was fatally shot. Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Chief Kerr Putney said earlier today that the footage he reviewed does not provide "definitive visual evidence that would confirm that a person is pointing a gun."

When the Scott family was asked if the video they saw matches what police has described, their attorney replied, "No comment."

He doesn't have to actually be pointing the gun. If he had it in his hand and refused to drop it in accordance with police demands, that alone can be seen as enough of a threat to justify the shooting.

What doesn't make sense to me is that while the Charlotte case is "murky," the Tulsa case is pretty clear-cut. Yet the riots are in Charlotte and not Tulsa.

There's no NBA team store to loot in Tulsa.

Mayor says she saw the video and it's ambiguous.

Mayor says the gun recovered on the scene was a small gun.

Hillary should keep her mouth shut about this, because she's just digging her grave.

Yes, they do. I just mentioned it because if it was a small gun, it may be difficult to see in video.

Marijuana can cause aggression - especially when coupled with other substances like alcohol.

Is smoking pot there in public even legal?

No.

Medical marijuana is not even legal there yet though there is a bill in their state senate.

Those are leftish or liberal sites, but they are not extreme in the same sense as Newsmax. There is one leftist site that I would probably compare to Newsmax, but I can't think of its name at the moment. There is a guy in my Twitter feed who frequently links to it so if he does so again soon I post it here.

The sites that you list have ideological slants, but there are significant differences between those on the list. Several wouldn't even agree with each other. While these sites may have perspectives with which you disagree, they do try to stick to facts. Newsmax, on the other hand, doesn't appear to have any regard for facts and willingly publishes things that have no grounding in reality. Newsmax is even more extreme than Brietbart which is difficult to comprehend.

This is enlightening.

They might as well be Trump campaign workers, because they are swinging North Carolina solidly to Trump.

Democrats don't need NC to win, dumb jock
