| I have seen the movie-- Q Tarantino is a weird dude. The movie may be art, but it is full of nasty words and scenes. This guy should realize some things should not be repeated. I agree suspend him and get him some counseling |

Let me get this straight....
He is quoting a line from a movie or a song? Allows someone to film him and is now all over Social Media. Based on the video I have watched he does not look like he is sober. So it's OK to drop the N word and use the word lynching because one can always resort to claim he was singing a verse from a movie or song. So are we now saying it's OK for people to start quoting lines from Hitler - oh it's OK I was just quoting a movie. This is a very disturbing defense - the kid was just playing an innocent joke and dropping the N word. Sounds like this kid should get some serious therapy if this is how he and his friends like to have fun on the weekends. No school should tolerate this type of behavior. |

It's in very poor taste and is poor judgment for a teen, but it is also a riff of movie lines. The the died shirt is pretty bad too, yet I can remember wearing one at that age to a Dead show. In those days they wouldn't parole you from boarding school if you didn't attend a Dead show in a shitty outfit.
I'm more bothered by the apparent underage drinking. He's unfortunately now a public figure for this but consider how many teen booze parties in the Potomac area boys and girls preps there are and how neatly hushed that is by the schools and the same parents at these schools offering indignation over this. The kids can easily be entitled, self indulgent tone deaf young people when we let them. This isn't something Bullis can fix with an expulsion to set an example. That's a cop out. |

The A team has talent. 8th graders from Madlax, Crabs and NL. A seventh grader from Madlax and VLC. But it is the same old story - small handful of players who are serious about lacrosse, and everyone else. Hope those rumors about the school actively recruiting are true. |
