It's where the world-wide headquarters of DCUM is located.

Well, if you live there Jeff...I guess it's worth a Google.

I always took you for more a Logan Circle pre-2009 kind of guy.

Probably works just as well for me. Though the folks in the political forum probably think Comrade of Crestwood would fit better.

Hah! You won't get a copyright objection from me, but TaComrade of Takoma Park may take you to court over the other thing.

We looked at Logan Circle, but it was pre-2000. While looking at houses, we witnessed an armed robbery. That wasn't the only reason we looked elsewhere, but it was the most memorable experience of our housing search.

I always thought that was just more mount pleasant.

No snark, but I am pretty shocked that someone living here for 30 years has never heard of Crestwood. I put it in same category as Shepherd Park. Where was this person during the whole DCPS boundary realignment?

+1 Someone doesn't get out much.

Agreed. Adrien Fenty lived there, btw, when he was mayor. We looked there but ended up in Shepherd Park since was a bit better for our commutes.

The same place most of DC was during the boundary realignment, not wasting my time. My section of the city was ignored mostly...so why bother.

I'm sorry I'm not familiar with a tiny, leafy neighborhood that seems to be nothing but houses. Please, let me know what attractions in Crestwood we from the rest of DC should visit.

It is 45 minutes for me to get there, so it better be awesome!

The only thing worth a 45 minute drive is Carter Barron. More specifically, I highly recommend the free DC Blues festival on Sept. 5:

I'd also suggest tennis but you just missed the tournament.

I grew up here & regularly visited relatives just across 16th street growing up, & I never knew Crestwood existed until I was invited to a party there 5 years ago. It's a nice neighborhood!
