It's true. Not a week goes by when they're not in some gossip mag showing off every single family event and milestone. They seek this publicity out and embrace their celebrity status and I find that distasteful considering their religious views. They are lacking humility.

If I was investigating this case, I would be very suspicious about the children being coached what to say ahead of time. Every single girl interviewed stated they "liked reading and spelling and hated math" and each one's favorite activity was "broomball".

I really hope the one child who went off-script and mentioned being beaten with the rod wasn't punished later.

Most student peers share similar interests. Perhaps michelle is a terrible math teacher or the girls all suck at math. I Thought there was some statistic that girls aren't as good at math & science as boys are.

And as for the kids all liking the same game, I don't find that all that unusual. Many of the boys my son plays with enjoy soccer or minecraft. If you inerviewed 20 boys that were in my sons class, most of them would have the same answers to questions like what's your favorite subject? What do you like to play?

Some of you are just hellbent on thinking the absolute worst possible case because you hate these people because why? Because they are Christians? Don't even try to say it's because of this scandal, you hated them before this all came out.

I think TLC and the Duggars knew that this was going to break earlier this week. I work in Silver Spring and the Discovery Headquarters is near my office... I pass it on my lunch time walk. On Tuesday, there were about 10 - 15 black vehicles - town cars and SUVs -- in the drive way surrounded by security. I thought to myself, huh - the Duggars must be in town. Because, seriously, why would there be that many cars there other than them?

My guess - they knew it was going to break and the shit was going down.

I don't understand why Honey Boo Boo was canned because Mama June was allegedly dating a Child Molester, yet this show is still going to be on TLC where someone actually molested people, admitted to it yet was never penalized for it.

Mama June should sue the sh#& out of TLC if they continue airing the Dugger's show. She lost income from her cancellation so the Dugger's should lose theirs too.

I think its pretty obvious that they hired a PR firm knowing the story was about to break. Their statements are very carefully crafted and were released almost instantly after the story broke.
