This is true. If she's parenting without much help from Tyler, she does need a break sometimes. But I would probably ask a friendly looking cashier at Walmart to watch my kid before I'd leave her with April.

Yes Catelynn is you but they choose this baby and that's parenthood, some of us don't get any "days off" and she gets to sleep half the week away. After all the time she has had to reflect since she gave up Carly she still hadn't fully grasped the work it takes to parent.

I don't know that's accurate. Letting your baby spend a couple nights a week with her grandparents is not exactly sleeping half the week away. I'm sure most of us would be overwhelmed with parenting a baby when we were 23, and if she has the opportunity to let her baby spend the night with a grandparent, I don't faultt her for taking it. Where is Tyler in this? Why the disdain for Catelynn about it? Tyler doesn't work outside (or inside) the home either, and apparently doesn't help out very much with Nova. Maci pawned her child off on someone who's not even related. As PP said, I think Catelynn deserves the biggest leeway for any parenting struggles, given that she has no idea what "normal" is, and had the least stable upbringing of any of them, including Tyler. It's clear that she's struggling with PPD.

That Daddy Derek mess with Farrah is ridic. And why "Daddy Derek"? How about... just Daddy? She's just prepping Sophia for her next man, who I guess would be Daddy _____ for a while. Better get used to have lots of daddies, Sophia!

Farrah doesn't even call her own father "dad". I have no idea how I would deal with that situation if I were in it (father dies before baby is born) but it definitely would not be like she's doing it.

Debra is a fame whore just like Farrah. If she were to distance herself from Farrah then she wouldn't get any attention. It's like Munchausen by Proxy for the TV world.

This is part of it, but I think more of it is that they would never see Sophia again. I think Farrah's sister has completely estranged herself from the family so Farrah/Sophia is all they have left.

Farrah doesn't have any friends. I think her parents tolerate it to get a little money from MTV for their appearances.

She addressed this in a fan Q&A and it has something to do with half-siblings and how she didn't want to call him dad while they had to call him Michael. So she did it to be inclusive. Kinda made her seem a little human (at least she used to be).

Never fear, she has also said that she doesn't call him "Dad" because he doesn't act like one.
