Trump is an atheist. Anyone can talk about religion, and say they are religious when they’re not.

Unless the president is a bad atheist, like Trump

You sound like Richard Dawkins 20 years ago.

You sound like Paul 2,000 years ago.
DP I would consider that as a compliment, remaining true to the faith of Jesus.

DP - I don't think PP meant it as one.

Is Paul some kind of a-hole in the fables?

Why are religious people so obsessed with that guy? It’s weird.

Maybe because he gets a lot of. press and is considered a bad person by some. Meanwhile, everyone in prison says they're religious.

From what I've witnessed on this board they're generally an angry miserable bunch. I think while they don't know it or even realize it they might be driven by the devil to pull people away from God. They might be being used.

Think about this: when on these boards have you seen believers trying to covert atheists into believing in God? When have you seen them pushed, shamed and antagonized for not believing in God? Never. Why is that? Does that seem strange to you? It's one way. Ask yourself why is it one way? Food for thought.

+1M Atheists are indeed very angry and combative to try and "prove" the religious people wrong on here. Things that make you go hmmmm.

You can take as many personal shots as you like. I don't think any atheists here are angry, except maybe about one thing:

How you believers often won't answer simple questions.

I am not saying your beliefs are wrong. I am asking how you justify them since there seems to be no significant evidence for them. If you take that as "trying" to "prove you wrong", well, that's your issue. This is a discussion forum, after all, and if you're not prepared to discuss things, maybe you should not participate in discussion?

I would encourage you to grow up and if you are going to engage be prepared to explain your religious beliefs the same way you might with someone who disagreed with you on any other topic on DCUM. Gardening, colleges, investing, health, and yes, politics.

Talking to people like you is a waste of time. Telling people (insulting) people telling them to grow up all the while not understanding the basic concept of faith is ridiculous. Perhaps it's you that needs to "grow up" and find other things like gardening, colleges, investing, health to discuss with others in a non-combative manner. Your position as it stands, is lame.

Please name a position that could not be held on faith.

There is NO position, no matter how ludicrous, which cannot be held on faith.

Therefore, faith is NOT a path to truth.

If you don’t care about what is true, that is fine, and your honesty in admitting that is admirable.

correct. and most atheists would never act that way either. The only person who would act that way is an evil person who is taking advantage of the most gullible people he can think of -- religious people.

The truth is, no one want to own him -- Atheists or religious people

What about the cop who was killed? He was a good christian guy, right? Right up there on the podium with Trump. I'd like to hear from his family about why he wasn't saved.

No comparison. I think Obama was a non-believer, reading between the lines of his book and observing his behavior, but he was also a normal person, like most people, irrespective of their religious beliefs.
