So many atheists here - why do you care?

Yup. Then people complain that atheists post here or wonder why they care.

The only reason athiests post here is to ignite a conversation, then attempt to "own" the believers.

Are you feeling owned?

Atheists post here for the same reason you do. It's an engaging topic of discussion. Don't you find it telling that no atheists are demanding theists stop posting, and are instead encouraging them to do so?

It's not our fault your position is weak, and maybe indefensible depending on your specific beliefs. No one is making you engage. Your constant whining and complaining does nothing to help other theists.

No one is "demanding" that athiests stop posting. However, your fourth sentence proves my point. Thank you.

Glad I could help! Let me know what else you need.

Are you saying that if Christianity were not pushed so much in the US (in your opinion) that you wouldn't care as much?

See post at 14:39 that you orginally responded to. You couldn't even respond to my "why" inquiry, without a mention of my "weak" position.

Not at all. Note the use of the word "attempt".

That's a DP.

IMHO, your position is weak. Am I not supposed to say that if I think it?

Are you also trying to convince Muslims that there is no God?

NP. As an ex-Muslim, all discussion is for everyone. I think it's weird that you associate discussion with "trying to convince."

Also want to add that as an ex-Muslim, Muslims face "trying to convince" by Christians all day every day, in the United States. You may not realize it if you're a Christian in America, but it seems to me as though you lack basic awareness of the position of others. Or find it mildly ideologically threatening.

I don't care how other religions practice their faith. I also don't care if athiests do not believe in God. I only care about practicing my own faith. However, for some reason there are those who insist on me "proving" that there is a God. Why?

It's a discussion. That's what this forum is for. Ignore it if you feel bothered enough to not engage. If you want an echo chamber, there are other sites for that.

Correct. That is why I am engaging and asking folks why I have to "prove" the existence of God. No answers, yet.

My question had nothing to do with the merits of my, or your position. How do you even know that I am a believer? Yet, you managed to attack my supposed "position". What is my position? This is why you proved the point of my original post.

+1

I heard zero whining and demanding in OP's post.

You didn't type this?

The only reason athiests post here is to ignite a conversation, then attempt to "own" the believers

That was the comment that caused the "weak position" comment.

Directly relevant to what you typed.

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Yeah that's why there are threads like this directly addressing atheists.

Someone must be really bored today.
